Business
Bingbangbong.com - I am founder & Managing Director of Bingbangbong Ltd. A small business that designs and makes Outdoor Musical Instruments for schools, nurseries & public play areas.
eBay Partner Network
I’m a registered member of the eBay Partner Network (EPN). This enables me to set up official stores registered with ebay whch have the specific intention of bringing traffic to eBay. Typically they provide a service to someone looking to buy now, hence the sales-y tone and no-frills on sales sites. There’s a slightly different approach on more info-based sites where ebay presence can be anywhere down to just a widget.
This is an example of a heavily optimised sales site.
This is a specific-information site. It helps a visitor identify the age of the vintage zildjian cymbal they are wanting to sell or buy.
Drums & Drumming
Drumdojo.com – The Mothership. Started originally in 1997 on Powerhaus.net then in 2001 it became Drumdojo. 2011 is the site’s 10th Anniversary.
Bodojo.com – the web’s largest bodhran forum and information site. If it’s even remotely bodhran related, you can be sure there is a discussion thread on it!. Started life as the bodhran section in drumdojo then became bodhrandojo then finally bodojo. Has helped thousands of people learn about and how to play the bodhran.
HowToBuildADrum.com should be launching March 2011. Over 2 years from starting and never to be finished. HTBAD is designed as an information resource for beginner and amateur drum builders. There will be a small subscription to join. The site is currently in beta which means that it is not available to the public but there are some people on it, hopefully creating user feedback. In advance, I am starting a pre-membership list. Subscribers will receive reduced subscription rates when the site goes live.
TunaDrum.com – A site about drum tuning unsurprisingly – ever-popular site serving drummers for many years now.
DrumBits.com – A drum glossary site naming the various elements of a drumset.

F1Live.net – constantly updated Formula one news service
